Clement Faugier Chestnut Spread - Crème de Marrons
Chestnut spread, also known as chestnut jam, goes by various names in French: confiture de marrons, confiture de chataîgnes, and crème de marrons. Clément Faugier’s recipe for chestnut spread is exceptional for its inclusion of crushed pieces of candied chestnuts. Because of its thick and smooth texture, itt is excellent on toast. It also goes well with yogurt, crème fraîche, or fromage blanc and is ideal with waffles and pancakes.
