Distillerie du Perigord · Prunes in Armagnac
Distillerie du Périgord is a branch of the Distillerie Lapouge, which was founded in 1860 by Emile Lapouge and was famous for the its fruit eaux-de-vie, which won a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle de Paris in 1900 as well as the gold medal at the International Fair of Brussels in 1899. Since 1980, the company has specialized more broadly in all treatments of fruits and alcohol. It is now the number two in the world in the production of fruits in alcohol.
A classic of southwest France.
